Atelier Nouveau’s design duo is heading to the annual Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas in January 2015. The only event of its kind, KBIS showcases latest industry products, trends and technologies specific to kitchen and bath design. We look forward to perusing almost one million square feet of inspiration, and connecting with up to 125,000 design and construction professionals to bring you the latest and greatest in kitchen and bath design. If there’s time to spare we’ll try to catch some entertainment too! Look for an update as soon as we return.
We are pleased to announce that Tia received two awards for her own kitchen design in the 2014 National Kitchen & Bath Association’s local competition. The awards, including Second Place for Medium Size Kitchen, and Best Before and After Kitchen, were given out at the Annual Holiday Gala & Design Event on December 5th. We are also entering another project in the upcoming 2013-2014 Kitchen Design Contest, which is an international competition sponsored by Wolf and Sub-Zero. Look for photos which will soon be posted on our website. As for contest results…stay tuned!”
Another great news item is that Claudine successfully completed her Associate Kitchen & Bath Designer (AKBD) exam on December 1st. This is the first level of accreditation by the National Kitchen & Bath Association. In order to prepare for this, in the past 4 years Claudine has completed a Certificate in Interior Design, a Diploma in Kitchen & Bath Design as well as 2 1/2 years of experience working in the industry and a considerable amount of time reviewing the NKBA’s Professional Resource Library (9 volumes)!
